Job Title: Project Coordinator - Strengthening and Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Vulnerable Groups through CFW Project

Job Summary:

Wahat Al Farah Association is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the Strengthening and Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Vulnerable Groups through Cash for Work (CFW) project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in NGO settings, particularly in community engagement, project management, and coordination.


  • Manage the entire project team, fostering effective communication between field and office staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve issues that may arise during project implementation.
  • Oversee project execution, planning, and development of activities in coordination with workshop supervisors.
  • Prepare schedules, monitor activity progress, and set deadlines in accordance with project timelines.
  • Lead outreach efforts, coordinating closely with the program manager.
  • Manage the project budget, submit purchase requests, and provide technical assistance in supplier selection.
  • Ensure proper documentation and regularly report on activity progress to the program manager.


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, International Development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated depth of experience and effectiveness, preferably in an NGO context, in working with community people and organizations.
  • Proven experience working with GIZ and familiarity with their processes and requirements.
  • Previous successful management of Cash for Work projects.
  • Experience working with Persons with Special Needs is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

  • Proficient in report writing, monitoring, and project evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and deliver work in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional coordination and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and programmatic skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
  • Remote management skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and flexibility in dealing with the team.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer usage and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Comfortable using email, Zoom, MS Teams, and instant messaging for communication.

Working Conditions:

  • Willingness to work outside regular office hours (important).
  • Ability to work under pressure (important).
