The facility was founded by His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Kurban, Archbishop of Tripoli and Al-Koura, due to the need of having such a facility in the area. Currently Metropolitan Archbishop Ephrem Kyriakos presides over the project with the help of a special Wahat Al Farah committee

WAF provides services to 157 persons with disability, coming from different geographical northern areas and all religions and social backgrounds.
Our vision is to reach a community where persons with disabilities receive an education that enables them to achieve their potentials and enjoy a productive and satisfying quality of life
