We are hiring on a rolling basis and we apologize in advance as only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. TDH IT reserves the right to fill the position before the closing date of the published vacancy in case a suitable candidate is identified.
Objective 1: Conducts FPSS and CP activities
Designs focused FPSS and CP activities targeting children, adolescents and their caregivers;
Develops, delivers and monitors structured outdoor recreational activities;
Carries out structured FPSS activities using specific methodologies to support the beneficiaries’ resilience and needs;
Keeps the balance between social, mental and physical activities for children and adolescents;
Plans the activity in order to ensure progressive steps from easier to more difficult activities;
Ensures that the beneficiaries have the possibility to participate in designing the activity, to express themselves and to be heard;
Ensures that the beneficiaries are all involved in the activity and that there is possibility for boys and girls to work both together and in gender based groups
Deals with difficult behaviours (conflict, aggressiveness, introversion), to understand the reason behind the behaviour and tries as much as possible to involve the others participants as a resource to solve the problem.
Objective 2: Identification of vulnerable cases and referral pathways
Monitors child progresses, identify children in need and refer special cases to the social workers and the psychologists as soon as identified;
Identifies children in needs of specific services and reports them to the Team Leader and Social Worker.
Objective 3: Plans and requests the material needed for the activities to the Team Leader.
Objective 4:. Responsible for the proper use and basic maintenance of the animation material and Mobile Unit facility.
Objective 5: Actively participates in the trainings provided by TDH IT or other partner Organization and participates in the weekly coordination meetings.
Objective 6: Reports, Capitalization and Communication
Develops a detailed monthly activity plan, indicating specifically the aim and the objectives of the activities to closely monitor results achieved with the beneficiaries of the age group;
Reports daily to the Team Leader the activities conducted.
And any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by your manager.
