 The project manager will: 

  •  Plan, manage, and implement the project according to the project’s trajectory budget 
  • Provide timely narrative and financial reporting according to project regulations and possible upcoming donor-contracts 
  • Ensure complete and timely project documentation at all times 
  • Monitor and report on project implementation with all partner organisations 
  • Monitor budget and ensure cash availability for project implementation according to Swisscontact and other sponsors regulations 
  • Provide leadership and support for project staff 
  • Where necessary provide leadership and support for external consultants, advisors, short-term experts and interns/trainees 
  • Provide coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of selected project activities in SME support  
  • Capacity building of project implementation partners in the areas of SME support and labour market insertion 
  • Active management of relations with key stakeholders and private sector actors 
  • Active use and exploration of synergy opportunities with other development partners in the areas of SME support and labour market insertion 
  • Actively contribute to internal and external knowledge management and positioning events of Swisscontact 
  • Analyze and synthesize program outcomes and contribute to the development of the project’s sustainability 
  • Internal capacity building of the project’s team members in their further development of their thematic competencies and their professional career
