Job Purpose: Basmeh and Zeitooneh is seeking an experienced Environmentalist to join our team and to advocate for the protection of the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources through the provision of four awareness sessions targeting Bar Elias community members to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Development: Design a comprehensive training program to underscore the importance of proper waste disposal and its far-reaching impact on the environment and public health, focusing on sustainable water management, pollution prevention, and canal maintenance.
• Training Delivery: Conduct 4 engaging and interactive training sessions for the community members in Bar Elias, ensuring that they have a thorough understanding of key concepts and best practices.
• Resource Development: Create training materials to support in delivering effective training to the targeted community members.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team including the Project Manager and the Field Officer, to align the training objectives with the project goals and the community needs.
• Reporting: Develop one final report highlighting the effectiveness of the training program as per the provision of the 4 training sessions.

Education & Experience:

• -Master's degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
• -Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in environment sustainability.
• -Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• -Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• -Ability to engage and motivate learners, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.
