Sharekkna is an NGO that works in the sector of awareness-raising and advocacy. It offers a broad platform for CSOs, NGOs, Startups, & specialists, where they can share 60-second videos about their work to show their social impact. Sharekkna MENA has 2 main objectives: To spread verified knowledge & to share the social impact so that stakeholders can watch the MENA changemakers. Real social change occurs when organizations and specialists go outside their own walls and find creative ways to show the impact of the work that they are doing to create sustainable communities.

 

Job Overview

Sharekkna MENA is looking for an intern who has the capacity and basic knowledge to write proposals. This position will assist proposal development efforts in collaboration with project management leadership to develop distinctive value proposals that enhance the project management and the funding of Sharekkna MENA.

Major responsibilities:

  • Work and collaborate with the team to prepare winning proposals, presentations and pre-qualifications.
  • Conduct and participate in kick-off meetings as appropriate to the assignment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Entry-level experience in proposal writing.
  • Strong knowledge of non-profit.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A sense of organization.

This internship is within the Project management Department of Sharekkna MENA. The intern reports directly to the Internship program.

Sharekkna MENA Internship is done usually over 30 consecutive days with possible extensions according to the need. The intern will have a target to achieve at the end of every internship with a final report submitted to track and follow up on the work done. The internship certificate is awarded on the recommendation of the preceptor.

Interns are not financially remunerated because Sharekkna MENA is a free service for community awareness. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Sharekkna accepts no responsibility for the medical insurance of the intern or costs arising from injury, illness, or death that may occur during an internship.
