Consultation for solar system designing and supervision

SAWA was founded in 1990, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that supports the most underprivileged populations in Lebanon, through various programs involving health care, psychosocial support, rural development, vocational training, child protection, and promotion of human rights culture.
SAWA was founded by a youth group and started from the needs of young people seeking for development in remote and poor areas and to spread the culture of peace.

Sawa Group aims to implement a pumped solar system in Khiara village, catering to the water needs of approximately 5,000 residents. The current system comprises one well with two pumps delivering water to a 400 m3 tank over a distance of about 3 km. The consultant, responsible for the entire project, must undertake the conceptual design, including assessing site conditions, conducting stakeholder interviews, and evaluating existing electrical parameters. The consultant will collaborate with Sawa Group on project parameters, propose a general layout of the photovoltaic (PV) plant, and estimate the preliminary budget. Subsequent phases involve detailed design, preparation of drawings, bill of quantities (BOQs), and specifications for components. The tender phase includes contractor selection and technical reviews, while the installation and commissioning phase comprises site visits, commissioning supervision, and final approval. Ancillary services unrelated to the solar system are explicitly mentioned as out of scope for this project.
