IT training for MEHE's DSE/DPE staff on Microsoft Word by a Microsoft certified trainer.

To All legally IT Microsoft firms/individuals, Research Triangle Institute (RTI) implementing the USAID-funded QITABI 3 Activity, formally invites interested bidders to submit proposals to conduct a “training sessions in collaboration with QITABI 3 team for a group of around 60 participants, around 30 from each directorate’’.

Scope of Work:

The trainer will:

  1. Conduct Pre-Training Assessments:
    • Design and administer a pre-test to evaluate participants’ current knowledge of Word and Excel.
    • Analyze results to categorize participants into basic, and intermediate levels.
  2. Develop Training Content:
    • Create training materials customized for the basic and the intermediate skill levels.
    • Include practical examples and hands-on exercises relevant to the participants' work environment.
  3. Deliver Training Sessions:
    • Facilitate training sessions per level, covering Word and Excel.
    • Ensure a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  4. Provide Post-Training Assessment and report:
    • Design and administer a post-test to evaluate participants’ acquired knowledge of Word and Excel after the training.
    • Share a report summarizing participant performance, key observations, and recommendations for future capacity building.
    • Share Certification of completion in alignment with QITABI 3 Branding requirements.

Proffessional Trainer Qualificatoins:

  • Microsoft Certification as a trainer.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor or master’s degree in IT
  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in delivering training sessions for individuals or groups on Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and others.
  • Track record of conducting training sessions for various levels of proficiency.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to adapt content to different skill levels and to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable matter.       
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with learners
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English.

Deliverables

  1. Pre-training assessment tests and participant results categorized by skill level.
  2. Develop Tailored training materials for QITABI 3 program targeting each topic and skill level based on the program’s guidance and needs.
  3. Training Manual s for Word and Excel.
  4. Delivery of training sessions:
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
  5. A final report summarizing:
    • Participant attendance and engagement
    • Pre- and post-training assessment results, percent of improvement per participant, and skills gained
    • Recommendations
