Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Identify children in need of case management;
  • Ensure that informed consent/assent is taken before opening a case;
  • Assess received cases, prioritizing them according to risk level;
  • Manage cases with respect for confidentiality, and in accordance with national Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Red Oak guidelines;
  • Determine needs of the child and family by completing intake interviews, including legal, therapeutic, medical, psychosocial, and psychiatric evaluations;
  • Handle case assignments, draft service plans, review case progress, and determine case closure;
  • Record case information, accurately completing all necessary forms and producing case reports of quality reports; 
  • Weekly report and weekly narrative report;
  • Regularly monitor and support children and families, providing guidance, advice and emotional support, community mediation and referrals;
  • Participate in weekly meetings and assessments, sharing progress and obstacles with the team;
  • Regularly follow up to ensure all services and action points listed in the case plan are carried out within agreed timeframes;
  • Regularly document cases using case notes and other agreed upon forms, update databases to ensure a comprehensive record of the case;
  • Store and file CP data ensuring the confidentiality of the information collected and the services

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • BA in Psychology, Social Sciences, Education or any related fields
  • At least two years’ experience in similar jobs, preferably with children and vulnerable populations
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills: strong English skills and fluency in Arabic
  • Attention to detail with strong follow up
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Team-oriented, with ability to work efficiently independently
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others
  • Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent psychosocial support skills.
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
