Responsibilities:
 Day-to-day management and oversight of Nazra operations and program activities
inspired by the Organisation’s vision and mission.
 Provide direct management to all Nazra’s teams and ensure work is delivered in a timely
fashion.
 Leading the Fundraising & Development of proposal writing and granting-making
processes in line with Nazra’s Strategy.
 Building and maintaining essential, professional, and good relationships with staff,
target groups, partners, and donors.
 Coordinating with Nazra’s Executive Director to ensure that the organization is within
the Human rights and good governance principles.
 Ensuring that Nazra’s policies, systems, and guidelines are implemented and adhered to,
across the organization in the region. This includes an adaptation of the operating system
when necessary.
 Ensuring that Nazra meets its responsibilities to its donors and maintains transparency in
its operations.
 Ensuring that Nazra’s funded programs are implemented within budget.
 Handling training and personal development of the staff.

 Working on ensuring quality and accountability to Nazra’s beneficiaries, including
upholding the beneficiary-centered casework process and M & E tools.
 Representing Nazra’s when required, in the local and international press, internal
communications, and external events, in coordination with the Executive Director.
 Ensuring that Nazra’s operations encompass the fundamental principles of the
organization, including putting the best interest of the child first and child protection
standards.
 Acting as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors on all aspects of the
organization's activities
 Conducting official correspondence on behalf of the Board of Directors as appropriate
and jointly with the Board when appropriate
 Carrying out other duties as requested by the organization’s Executive Director and
board.

Qualifications:
● Master’s Degree preferred in social sciences, governance, public policy, or gender.

● Wide work experience, at least 5-7 years with other feminist organizations.

● Fluent in both Arabic and English, French is an addition

● Good knowledge of Feminist and Gender issues as well as the Feminist Movement in
Egypt and the MENA Region.
● Highly aware of the MENA Region contexts, in order to be engaged in evaluating risks
and implementing measures to control it
● Familiar with strong fundraising plan creation, budget, proposals, and reports

● Good leadership and communication skills in both written and verbal to reflect Nazra’s
position in many different contexts

● Respecting women’s diverse identities, ethnics, backgrounds, and experiences

● Transparency, accountability, and commitment to meet Nazra’s goal and values.
