Qualifications and Skills Requirements

This position demands a highly committed employee with a demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables in a demanding environment:

  • University degree preferably in HRM or a degree in finance, business or management
  • Two  (2) years of experience in a similar position preferably in the INGO field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Lebanese Labor Law
  • Available for a minimum of six months
  • Strong team player
  • Flexible and able to cope with high levels of stress; ability to prioritize and deal with competing demands.
  • Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to train others
  • People management experience
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing HR policies, procedures and systems.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and  HRIS
  • Detailed Oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic

EESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Administrative deliverables
  • Ensure an accurate and a timely update of HR database and HR records related to the staff allocated at the field office; Ensure accurate and timely scanning of personnel-related documents in alignment with the Filing Guidelines; Ensure accurate and timely follow up on all HR documents and forms which require signatures;
  • Ensure that HR systems are updated in alignment with any changes in personnel in a timely manner;
  1. Recruitment
  • Provide active support in the Recruitment process/steps which include but are not limited to: Vacancy Posting, CV shortlisting (for specific positions), Scheduling Interviews, Conducting Interviews (for specific positions), Reference Checks, Offer Preparation, Gathering Pre-Employment Documents, and Orientation (for specific positions);
  1. Employee Relations
  • Highlight any complaint or incident which is considered not in accordance with HR Policies and Procedures in order to take the right corrective actions or disciplinary measures accordingly;
  • Act as a point of reference for employees regarding any queries or clarifications on HR services, SOPs and procedures in order to ensure the presence of consistency and common understanding;

  • Uphold and promote MAMAN’s commitment to ensuring the safeguarding and safety of the vulnerable communities we serve.
  • Consistent with MAMAN’s safeguarding and protection policies, ensure all people who come into contact with MAMAN are as safe as possible.

Direct reporting, dotted line work coordination and external coordination

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Job Holder should coordinate closely with staff allocated at the field office in Bekaa and the needed support departments to ensure a timely and accurate coordination regarding the HR tasks assigned.

 

Working Conditions

The Job Holder will be working from MAMAN’s office in Bekaa.  Frequent travel to the implementation areas will be required on an “as-needed” basis.
