Roles and Responsibilities:                  

Program:

  • Deliver center-based or mobile psychosocial activities to children.
  • Prepare activity plans on monthly basis.
  • Deliver structured Basic Literacy and Numeracy to street-connected children to enhance their reading and writing skills.
  • Collect daily data about the activities organized and ensure that all the relevant forms are duly filled.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Senior PSS Worker, PSS Educators and other Protection Program staff.
  • Raise any concern or challenge to the SAWC team.
  • Work in compliance with and respect the principles of humanitarian protection and confidentiality, and work with refugee and host-sensitive communities.
  • Conduct outreach assessments to identify cases and invite them to participate in the PSS activities.
  • Conduct PSS night shift activities weekly.
  • Support in the preparation and implementation of big events and campaigns.

 

Other:

  • Report promptly concerns or incidents to the SaWC team and liaise with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for MF programs.
  • Ensure activities run promptly to ensure the successful implementation of programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop MF programs.
