Over the years, we have mobilized over 80,000 volunteers to work collectively on social, humanitarian, environmental, and cultural projects. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for converting the Communications Department’s requirements into innovative designs that will inspire, inform and captivate LLL's members, existing clients, followers & partners while attracting new ones. The Graphic Designer must obtain a thorough understanding of the LLL’s services, initiatives, internal standards and differentiators to develop strategies aimed at increasing effective communications and brand awareness.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent and express LLL’s core values.
  • Support the Communications & Outreach Department plan that includes visual pieces aligned with LLL's strategy and local media interest, in order to increase the brand awareness in different markets, contexts and countries.
  • Design communication, branding and media materials (print and digital collaterals) according to LLL guidelines - ensure consistency and integrity behind LLL’s brand and its guidelines.
  • Support the production of all graphic design outputs like: brochures, website graphics, infographics, promotion, social media, etc.
  • Following the Communications & Outreach Manager instructions, work for all departments to create designs of internal and external communication material.
  • Create work for the Projects´ deliverables, matching deadlines on time, after receiving the design calendar from the Communications & Outreach Manager.
  • Work with different design platforms in order to achieve the best quality and most innovative designs.
  • Aligned with the management vision, handle the branding design for different media channels and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Support different areas of the Communications & Outreach Department which includes local and international Live Love Media Accounts.
  • Work with the Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator to produce final designs aligned with the content.
  • Follow up and amend designs upon feedback.
  • Bring innovative ideas, best practice examples and cutting-edge design practices to the Communications & Outreach Department. Forecast and track trends in marketing and design.
  • Support the Annual Report process, proposing new and innovative designs.
  • Attend brainstorming meetings,  contributing ideas and design artworks to the overall brief.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images;
  • Experience with graphic design and production principles and processes; experience in camera operation, location and set management, audio, lighting, sound editing and mixing
  • Experience developing strategic visual content for social media
  • Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills;
  • Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Fluency in Arabic, English and French, written and oral.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office and G Suite.
