Major responsibilities:

Carry out activities and deliver the outputs as pertaining and stated to the project grant agreement.

  • Organize workshops and/or training activities within the project.
  • Assist the program manager in managing consultants to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
  • Draft correspondence and meeting notes.
  • Maintain communication linkages and rapport with the project and LUPD Team.
  • Prepare and document activities related to the project.
  • Organize, prepare and provide meeting documents for the Program manager.
  • To coordinate with the partner on the activities supported by the project.
  • Oversee budget planning and expenditures under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.

Cash distributions:

  • Coordinating with UN clusters and partners to maintain up-to-date knowledge on cash distribution trends and best practices.
  • Monitoring beneficiary identification and registration processes following the procedures in place.
  • Overseeing cash distribution activities and ensuring timely disbursements.
  • Strengthening communication with affected communities.
  • Managing cash distributions reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Addressing beneficiary complaints and resolving conflicts.

Monitoring the Implementation of the Project Activities:

  • Representing the LUPD in the events related to the project's core activities or components.
  • Present on-site in the implementation of project activities.
  • Liaise with related partner agencies that will engage and collaborate within the project.

Responsible for comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

This includes drafting and submitting regular progress reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), as well as a final project report. In collaboration with the finance department, the role involves preparing and managing financial documentation, including annual certified financial statements and budget utilization reports. Additionally, maintaining accurate meeting minutes and other relevant project documentation is essential.

Carry out other assignments as tasked by the supervisor. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the program manager and/or project coordinator.

• Adhere to all necessary aspects within the organization, such as administration, human resources, legal, as well as program development and management, communications, M&E, and contribute to emergency operations as required.

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in related jobs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, economics, or social sciences.
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Able to use judgement to prioritize work.
  • Ability to focus on details.
