Graphic Designer (volunteer position)
Job tasks
Implement LMR and donors branding policy
Ensure that all publications, reports, and products are produced in line with LMR’s and donors requirements/policies
Implement the graphic guidelines in all LMR's projects
Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web-based, and Design and layout of reports and other products
Improve and edit artwork, photos, charts, and other graphic elements;
Layout and design information and communication materials (t-shirts, banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, bulletins, flyers, cards)
Create different illustrative materials such as animation, and presentations.
Custom photo editing
Ensure projects photos are completed with high quality and on schedule
prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Perform retouching and manipulation of images
Work closely with the social media and web development team.
Key skills
Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software’s
Show a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of different INGO’s.
Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes and color management;
Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms;
Knowledge of standard software packages
Working experience in development or humanitarian environment is desirable
