LASeR is a non profit organization, one of the leading organizations in providing scholarships, educational loans and access to higher education opportunities. The City Fund is a program that serves more than 700 students, benefiting from interest free loans and access to special programs with partner universities. The scholarship coordinator we are looking for will be responsible for the following tasks, in addition to imagining how can we even improve our services , so your own contribution to the development of the project is very much welcomed. 

 

Tasks included in this position : 

 

  1. Maintains and monitors plans and schedules in the Scholarships Department.
  2. Ensures deadlines are met.
  3. Determines the funding needs.
  4. Monitors and ensures compliance with donor agreement guidelines.
  5. Managing and Tracking Scholarships Applications.
  6. Shortlisting based on predefined criteria.
  7. Interviewing applicants for decision making.
  8. Coordinates the process of signing the contracts with accepted applicants.
  9. Serves as a liaison with our Partners Universities to facilitate communication and follow up on all details related to registered students.
  10. Ensures stakeholders views are managed towards the best solution.
  11. Follow-up with students to ensure a 100% reimbursement ratio.
  12. Evaluation of the outcomes and outputs of the project 
  13. Reporting to higher management and to respective donors 
  14. Expanding the project and designing a strategy for growth 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Master’s Degree in Business or related field of study.

 

Four years of successful professional experience in a related field.

 

Exceptional interpersonal skills with all ages. 

 

Strong written and oral communication skills. 

 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

 

Must be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through and planning abilities and must be able to manage deadlines.

 

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Master’s degree in Public Relations, Development or Business-related field.

Prior experience in fundraising or education in development projects

Demonstrated record of success in a related career field.

Database management experience.
