Photographer

The main purpose of the assignment for The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation is to take portraits for stories about our work, this will include portraits of rights holders and women human rights defenders. These images will be used in Kvinna till Kvinna’s external communication, for editorial as well as fundraising purposes, and may also be used by third parties, such as corporations and institutions, collaborating with Kvinna till Kvinna.

We are looking to hire an external, English-speaking photographer with long experience and documented skills in portrait photography. The photographer should have experience in working with NGOs, especially with documenting programme activities.

Details of the assignment

• Timeframe and Location

The assignment will take place during the month of September in over the period of 5 days, with an estimated duration of 6 hours per day (final dates to be confirmed).

The location of this assignment will be mainly in Beirut, with expected travels to other regions (transportation will be provided to and from Kvinna till Kvinna’s office in Beirut).

• Deliverables 

Photographer is required to:

• Take still photographs of interviewees in different shots and form:  portrait and landscape, close-ups, and wide shots. It is expected there will be 12 interviewees, with at least 5 photographs for each,
• Perform any required edits and post-production before delivery,
• Deliver final images within 5 working days of the final production day.

Management and organisation 

The consultant will be working closely with the Kvinna till Kvinna Lebanon Programme team. The consultant is responsible for completing and delivering the above specified deliverables to the Lebanon Programme team.  

Consultant fees shall be specified per daily rate. The financial offer is expected to reflect all costs such as taxes, social security contributions and VAT.  

Contracted consultant cannot further subcontract the assignment. In cases where the financial offer includes a team of consultants, and their division of work shall be presented.
