Tasks and duties
- Develop and deliver mobile training modules on social cohesion, conflict resolution, intercultural dialogue, and community engagement.
- Facilitate virtual discussions, interactive activities, and experiential learning exercises to promote understanding and empathy among participants.
- Adapt training materials and methodologies for mobile platforms, ensuring accessibility and user-friendly experiences.
- Provide guidance and support to participants in implementing community-based initiatives and projects that promote social cohesion.
- Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to identify and address specific social cohesion challenges in target communities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, collect feedback, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of training resources, case studies, and best practices in mobile-based social cohesion training.
- Maintain documentation of training activities, participant progress, and project outcomes for reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on relevant research, trends, and approaches in social cohesion and mobile learning to enhance training content and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the program team to coordinate logistics, participant recruitment, and outreach efforts for training sessions.
- Collaborate with other trainers and facilitators to ensure consistency and quality across the training program.
- Support the program management in organizing and conducting workshops, conferences, and events related to social cohesion.
- Build relationships and networks with key stakeholders, community leaders, and organizations working in the field of social cohesion.
- Stay attuned to the needs and concerns of the target communities and provide appropriate guidance and support throughout the training process.
- Adhere to ethical standards, inclusivity principles, and respect for diversity in all training activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and delivering social cohesion training programs, preferably using mobile-based platforms.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social cohesion concepts, intercultural dialogue, conflict resolution, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with mobile learning technologies, online platforms, and digital tools for training delivery.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Experience working in multicultural and diverse settings, with a demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant software for documentation and presentation purposes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, showing flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs.
- Knowledge of current social, cultural, and political contexts related to social cohesion issues.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
Understanding and adherence to ethical standards and codes of conduct in training and capacity-building work.
