ICU - Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria

ICU is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that realizes development cooperation projects in developing countries and promotes information and education activities about international solidarity. ICU started in 1966, from an idea of some Italian teachers, in order to promote, at international level, the education and the science, using two main ways:•       Human and social development in developing countries through international cooperation programs, focusing on education.•       Diffusion of the idea of international cooperation as promotion of human dignity.ICU realized more than 420 cooperation projects in 35 countries in South America, Africa, Mediterranean countries and Near East, Eastern Europe and Asia.
