The Hariri Foundation is dedicated to sustainable development across various sectors, including Education & Training, Public Health, Community Support, Urban Development, and Environment & Agriculture. HF operates in partnership with stakeholders to promote citizen engagement, social cohesion, and community resilience. 

Position Overview 

The Hariri Foundation is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Officer to join its IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network topologies and inventory management for network devices and cables. This role involves troubleshooting network issues, managing inventory for IT assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities 

Design, implement, and maintain network topologies. 

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. 

Monitor network performance and optimize as needed. 

Work with firewalls, switches, and access points, particularly Sophos and Ubiquity devices. 

Maintain an accurate inventory of network devices, cables, and other IT assets. 

Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed. 

Document network configurations and update inventory records regularly. 

Conduct periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy. 

Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal teams. 

Assist with the installation and configuration of network hardware and software. 

Support end-users with connectivity issues and network access problems. 

Be aware of server services and ensure their smooth operation. 

Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, inventory, and support procedures. 

Provide recommendations for network improvements and upgrades. 

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network management. 

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills. 

Propose and implement improvements to network infrastructure and support processes. 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Proven experience in network topology design and management. 

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and managing network topology. 

Proficiency with network devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points, particularly Sophos and Ubiquity. 

Strong knowledge of inventory management for IT assets. 

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Strong communication and documentation skills. 

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
