Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

·        Implement and maintain FRPD’s procurement policies and procedures as well as ensure accordance with donor-specific policies

·       Procure all materials and equipment ordered in a cost-effective and transparent manner.

·       Implement and manage FRPD’s assets management system with the support of the Finance Department.

·       Perform routine communication, coordination and planning with all departments to ensure integrated internal controls, timely order and delivery of supplies, services and equipment, timely payment of vendors and full, auditable support documentation.

·       Coordinate with Finance, Admin and projects to ensure integrated internal controls, timely payment of vendors and full, auditable support documentation.

·       Ensure that a transparent and responsive procurement process is implemented and maintained.

·       Perform routine communication, coordination and planning with the relevant requesting staff / programs regarding the order and delivery of supplies.

·       Ensure that all supplies, services and equipment required are delivered on time.

·       Establish and maintain ethical, professional working relationships with suppliers.

·       Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items, and be informed of current local market conditions.

·       Facilitate bids and proposals evaluation sessions.

·       Act as ambassador to the organization.

Additional expected responsibilities:

• He/She supports other team members on projects when needed.

• He/She participates in FRPD’s-related events and networking opportunities when called upon. 

• He/She advises and assists entrepreneurs within the scope of their expertise and capacities when needed.

Requirements for the position:

·       Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, basic software.

·       Applications and expertise with the internet and email communications.

·       Advanced knowledge in medical supplies is a plus.

·       Strong sense of personal integrity.

·       Attention to detail.
