Request for Applications - Providing Mental Health Support to Civil Society Frontliners

The Lebanon Civic Action Accelerator Program (LEB-CAAP) is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded civil society strengthening program (2021-26) implemented by Family Health International (FHI 360). It will provide a combination of grants, technical assistance, and partnerships aimed at accelerating civil society activism to address Lebanon's compounded crises and advance long-term rights-based reforms.

Under this Request for Applications (RFA), LEB-CAAP is seeking to partner with a Lebanese intermediary support organization (ISO) specialized in mental health to design and deliver a customized and sustainable technical assistance program that supports the wellbeing of civil society services providers and their individual staff and volunteers who are providing psycho-social, legal support and other social protection and rights-related services.

This intervention aims to strengthen stress management and staff well-being of targeted CSOs and in turn, contribute to CSOs resilience by supporting them to develop positive coping strategies among their teams to help staff and volunteers in facing adversity and overcoming complex challenges.

Interested ISOs are expected to submit a technical narrative, detailed budget, and other required documents as per the attached Request for Applications.

LEB-CAAP will be holding an in-person solicitation workshop on May 19, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Bechara El Khoury, BDD (Beirut Digital District) Building #1075 5th floor (rooftop) to introduce the intervention and answer questions from potential applicants.
