Experience requirements: 3 years at least.

Experience in using social media strategies to promote campaign work - Experience in dealing with groups of beneficiaries, including children and adults along with Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Video editing skills (Premier, Avid, After Effects).

Description: The Media and Communications Officer will be in charge of a regional Network, (which is managed by Nabaa organization), visual content and social media channels as he / she will be working on promoting the Network brand among external audiences. The Communications and Media Officer will help network partners and beneficiaries as well to take advantage of technology for the purpose of advancing child rights across platforms and in their daily lives.

Main Responsibilities:

CONTENT:

-           Gathers and creates multimedia, visual content (videos, photos, documentaries, infographics); for multi-purpose use in the Network, among members, on social media and on ad hoc basis;

-           Joins media field visits, develops itineraries, collects and shares content from the visit in the format of photos and videos as per requests;

-           Compiles and produces the monthly Situation Report in coordination with the Line Manager.

-           Contributes with content to regular campaigns and advocacy planning and work as per timeline or as requested.

-           Updates the Website on a regular basis.

BRANDING AND VISIBILITY:

-           Maintains the network branding identity and ensures its visibility policy which is being applied across all programmes in the field, and in coordination with field teams;

-           Reviews and approves branded products, including banners, flyers, booklets and other items intended for external use;

-           Searches the market for potential brand partners to promote the Network through special events (exhibitions and events);

SOCIAL MEDIA:

-           Manages and creates engaging, strategic content for the Network social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) promoting the Network work, campaigns and advocacy objectives;

-           Comes up with engagement strategies to increase audience interaction and reach targeted groups based on campaign targets;

-           Delivers social media training for beneficiaries based on requests and programme aims;
