Invitation to Tender- provision of 1950 food parcels

Developmental Action without Borders, NABAA, is a non-political, non-profit Lebanese organization that works with Palestinian and Lebanese communities. NABAA aims to create an environment where all people, regardless of gender, religion, race, age, and nationality live together with dignity and peace. Indeed, NABAA’s main objective is to empower local communities and to support the members to speak for their rights and better their lives. NABAA’s vision is building a society that respects human rights and whose members are decision makers, which can be achieved through empowering local communities and marginalized groups, including women, children, youths, and refugees in order to play an effective role in their society. Contracting Authority:  Developmental Action without Borders- NABAA with the support of the Expertise France will be implementing a project titled “Provision of urgent Food Needs for the most vulnerable 650 Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian Households Living in Saida region including Palestinian camps Ta’ameer and old Saida Town”. The intervention aims at meeting the immediate basic food needs of 650 vulnerable Lebanese, migrants, and Palestinian and Syrian refugees, attempting to diminish vulnerability and food insecurity. These issues mainly sprung from the immediate Shock of the drop of the Lira against the Dollar and its impact on the economy, labor market, and prices of essential commodities. The proposed assistance would be granted through conditional cash-directed food parcels for 650 HHs selected based on surveys and the vulnerability assessment that includes age and gender criteria. The agreement includes the provision of 1950 food parcels
