Project Summary
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Zahle and Bekaa is implementing in partnership with Gruppo di Volontariato Civile the project “Inclusive and resilient communities: empowerment and job placement of Lebanese and Syrian youths and people with special needs in the Bekaa Valley. AID 10805”. A project funded by the Italian Cooperation and aims to contribute to mitigate the negative social and economic consequences for the Syrian crisis affecting the most vulnerable groups of host community.
Trainers Occupations:
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Zahle and Bekaa is looking for trainers in the following occupations with minimum 2 years of experience:
- Sales, Marketing, and Trade Relations
- Automobile Mechanics
- Nursing
- Fashion Design
- Technician in Architectural Drawing
Trainers Duties
Under the supervision of the Head of the Training and Public Relations Center, trainers’ main duties include:
- Develop the training curricula and materials (PowerPoint presentations, training exercises, ,handouts for attendees, etc)
- Facilitate and conduct training for youth within the project using the developed training curricula and materials
- Ensure that training components and activities are implemented as outlined in the project proposal
- Conduct on-going monitoring and evaluation on the progress of beneficiaries to ensure that the contents, and activities remain relevant for the beneficiaries and to propose adjustments when needed throughout the training period
- Ensure to take attendance and other records
- Maintain ongoing communication with all team members regarding project progress and challenges
- Work as a team player providing relevant assistance to colleagues and ensuring that project components, for which he/she is responsible, are implemented
- Write a training completion report detailing the training conduct including the outputs of the training and an evaluation of the knowledge acquired by participants
- Develop pre- and post-test questions to determine the level of knowledge and skills of trainees
Professional Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor degree from an accredited University
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in delivering trainings, developing sessions and manuals, managing learning cycle and testing sessions for efficacy
- Had good past performance records and previous training experience in delivering similar training
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic
- Ability to be flexible in working hours
- High ability to analyze and address youth needs and challenges
- Proactive and autonomous with tasks and duties, foreseeing challenges and delays
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, systematic and organized
