Call for consultant for digital marketing- ARYAF- M p'tit fruits

Context & Background

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.  


ARYAF serves Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises operating in food processing, local hospitality, tourism, the restaurant industry, eco-tourism, and agri-tourism within west Bekaa, Zahle, and South Mount Lebanon.  

The program aims to empower sixty MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to increase their sales volume, implement a business continuity plan, and provide training to their staff, including youth, women, and disabled individuals.

The program is funded by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in partnership with Berytech, within the framework of Strengthening Agriculture, Local Communities and Small and Medium Enterprises project (ACE). 

Scope of Work

Digital Marketing Consultant,

As a Digital Marketing Consultant, you provide expert guidance and strategic support to M P’tits Fruits. M P’tits Fruits is a 12000 m2 berry farm in Aïtanit producing raspberries, blackberries, red currants, and blackberries. In addition, M P’tits Fruits is processing freshly picked berries to produce frozen berries, Berry Purée, Freeze-dried berries, gummies, jams, and leather.

The role of the consultant is to increase the visibility and reach of the project among the target audience. The primary responsibilities will include driving traffic to the project’s website and social media platforms, generating leads and conversions for buying the products, booking touristic activities, and building and maintaining a solid online presence.


The consultant is expected to fulfill the below vital responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and current marketing challenges.
  • Conduct a thorough digital marketing assessment to identify areas for improvement.
  1. Digital Marketing Strategy Development:
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy that aligns with client objectives and business.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) to optimize the website and content to improve search rankings.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on digital channels, including but not limited to social media, search engine marketing, and content marketing.
  • Identify and recommend influencers aligned with the brand’s values for potential partnerships.
  • Explore brand collaborations with existing clients to broaden reach and create mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Suggest CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities to enhance the brand’s image and community impact.
  1. Execution and Implementation:
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns, including content creation for the project’s website, blog, and social media channels.
  • Manage and enhance the project’s presence on social media platforms.
  • Organize a professional photo shoot capturing different settings to convey the brand message.
  • Produce a video reel telling the brand story, emphasizing affordability, quality, freshness, and the natural aspects of the product.
  1. Online Shop:
  • Implement an e-commerce platform on the existing website for direct product sales.
  • Develop detailed product listings with descriptions and pricing (pricing already set).
  • Promote berry-picking activity and online scheduled visits through the online shop.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance using relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.)
  • Provide performance reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a digital marketing consultant, especially in the rural development sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

How to apply

The selected Consultant is expected to start their activities soon after selection (the effective date is to be confirmed), and the contract duration is over 3 months.

Candidates should submit the following documents:

  • Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in the section “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables,” elaborating on it further.
  • Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as an annex) along with project references on the topic.
  • Financial Proposal describing the expected remuneration and the proposed intervention period divided as per the deliverables listed above.

The shortlisted firms and consultants are required to pre-visit/call the business to assess and quote accordingly.
