Program Management Consultant
I’mpossible is partnering with PCPM under an LHF-funded project to address unmet multi-sectoral needs in Wadi Khaled, Jered El Qayteh and Sahel Akkar focusing on the most vulnerable populations, including the elderly and Persons with Specific Needs (PWSN).
As part of this project, I’m Possible is committed to equipping its staff with the essential skills needed to identify risks and seize opportunities, while strengthening internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes. These efforts aim to ensure both financial accountability and operational efficiency.
The organization is focused on optimizing project implementation by enhancing program management, as well as building staff capacity to track programmatic indicators. This approach will help ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with the project's goals, ultimately improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the interventions.

- Purpose of the assignment:
I’mpossible is seeking a consultant to deliver a 3-day training on Program Management to equip participants with practical tools and strategies for successful project implementation. - Key Responsibilities:
- Designing a comprehensive 3-day training program covering:
- Project planning, implementation and reporting aligned with the organization's goals.
- Tools and Techniques for Program Management:
- Overview of software tools while considering the organization’s capacities and financial resources (e.g., MS Project etc.) for program planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Recommendations for visualizing program progress (e.g., dashboards).
- Collaborative tools for coordinating across teams and managing deliverables.
- Providing training materials such as presentation slides, practical tools, templates, and guides for use by participants after the training.
- Delivering the training using interactive methodologies including presentations, group exercises, case studies, and practical simulations to ensure effective practical application.
- Facilitating pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and improvement in implementation management skills.
- Providing a final report summarizing key outcomes, including feedback from participants and recommendations for further improvements in implementation practices.
Deliverables:
- A comprehensive curriculum covering the outlined topics: identification of activities based on community needs and stakeholder inputs, formulation of detailed plans, managing resources during project implementation, formulating objectives and sustainability strategies to ensure long-term benefits for the communities. The curriculum should include detailed session plans, key learning objectives, and suggested timelines for each day of training.
- PowerPoint and presentations that summarize key concepts and strategies from the training.
- Guidance on setting up cloud-based document sharing (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint) and managing program documentation efficiently across distributed teams.
- Guidance on available program management tools considering the specific needs and capacity of the organization. Provide a detailed overview of the tools, including setup instructions and best practices, respective strengths, limitations, potential subscription/fee requirements, and the level of training needed for effective use.
- A comprehensive report detailing participant feedback, learning outcomes, and recommendations.
Duration of the consultancy: 3 days training
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, risk management, or a related field and experience in conducting training sessions with non-profit organizations. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g. logical framework approach), tools (e.g. Gantt charts), and techniques. Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs, with a focus on program management (at least 3 similar assignments).
- Experience working with international development, public sector.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation practices, donor reporting requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
