Under the technical support provided for the SEE Change projects, we seek to hire a lawyer to analyse the legal situation of 4 Social Entrepreneurship projects, offer them legal advice, draft necessary documents, and lead the registration process to ensure their compliance with Lebanese laws and regulations.
The designated lawyer, will guide the projects through the registration process, pay all related fees, liaise with government authorities, and ensure compliance with all legal obligations.

SEE Change: Oxfam in partnership with Beyond group and COSV is implementing an EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian crisis (EUTF) Funded project entitled “Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Change” (SEE Change). As of September 2020, and over the course of three years, the project has been implemented in five different areas in Beqaa, North, South and Mount Lebanon.

The briefing paper is part of Oxfam in MENA’s advocacy and influencing to fight inequality and austerity in the region. It is an essential part of the region’s efforts and planning around the IMF/WB annual meetings in Marrakesh expected to take place between October 09 – 15 2023. It aims to influence the debate in the annual meetings where the MENA region will receive a special attention in this years’ annual. Oxfam and Green Track will be supporting two municipalities (Bqarsouna and Bqaa Sifrine) in Minieh-Donnieh with Cash for Work (CfW) opportunities and public infrastructures/services renovation. Oxfam consulted with the municipalities, MOSA, the SDCs in Sir and Bakhaoun and designed the intervention based on the needs identified. A steering committee composed of Oxfam, municipalities and the SDC in Bakhaoun will be formed to lead the implementation of the activities.

As a part of an intervention to ensure the supply of clean water to Bakhoun in the north of Lebanon, Oxfam plans on distributing around 4730 Reusable pad kits in both the north of Lebanon (Al donnieh) and Al Chouf (Daraya) for young girls and women, all while implementing educational and awareness activities. with the goal of mainstreaming Proper menstrual Hygiene management and personal hygiene.

Under the DANIDA project, Oxfam is implementing a market-based approach. Oxfam will use a community-based approach to rehabilitate WASH facilities in the urban community of Lebanese and Syrian houses (latrines, handwashing facilities and water tanks), through 30 trained and equipped women, in Saaide and Bouday-North Bekaa.

Oxfam is seeking a contract with a sanitation hardware store (supplier) to provide community (women leading on maintenance of WASH facility activity) with materials to conduct rehabilitation for the WASH facility.

The purpose of this Tender is to obtain competitive offers for equipping the Haqlit water pumping station belonging to the NLWE with solar water pumping Systems.
