SKOUN is a Lebanese, non-profit, non-governmental organization and one of the first outpatient facilities that provide accessible treatment, education, and protection for all people who use drugs while maintaining its values regarding inclusion, accessibility, integrity, and dignity.

For 20 years, SKOUN has been caring for the most vulnerable populations in Lebanon and strives to ensure drug use and addiction are treated as primary health issues.

SKOUN aims to support the development of community-based substance use and mental health system in line with the National Mental Health Strategy and model of care, tackling gender barriers in service access and gender biases in service provision through offering quality and gender-sensitive services to women, men, boys, girls and non-gender conforming individuals living in Lebanon, particularly the most vulnerable groups and people at risk.

Job Summary

The Consultant will be responsible for the development of a factsheet on the Emerging Findings on patterns of use and trends in Lebanon based on the responses received to the European Web Survey on Drugs.

The European Web Survey on Drugs collected data during April and May 2024 from people who use drugs, are aged 18 or older, and live in 21 EU and 9 non-EU countries including Lebanon

Tasks and Duties

The consultant will work with the Drug policy and Advocacy Department at Skoun to clean, analyze and draft a fact sheet on the main  .

Duties:

  • Clean data for 11 questions
  • Analyze data
  • Draft fact sheet of main finding
