Call for Tender 240904 Maritime Machining Equipment

Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA), association created in 2010, is the operational partner of IECD. As part of its partnership with IECD, SDA implements projects in the field of entrepreneurship, education, training, and professional integration.

In the process of our development and creating opportunities for the youth to have a decent job and decent life. We have successfully built a relationship with International Maritime Academy which is willing to train our graduates who have an interest in the maritime industry and seek jobs for them with many local and international companies like but not limited to CMA CGM.

Therefore, as part of the development, IECD and SDA are soliciting proposals to equip the workshop that will be used in our collaboration to enhance practical work and ensure the success of the training.

How to apply

Interested bidders are invited to submit their bid in English based on the TOR and RFQ, the bid should include:

Technical proposal:

  • - Company profile and qualification documents, including past experience and previous clients (To have at least completed a similar service in the past, completion note should be attached to the offer).
  • - The technical offer should include a detailed description and operation manuals of each machine and as well as a plan for the maintenance of the machines for 2 years following the date of installation.
  • - Certificate of business registration, certificate of incorporation, business license (Commercial circular & Commercial Register)
  • - ID of authorized Signatory
  • - Certified copy of tax registration (MOF and VAT document if available)
  • - Official document from the brand certifying the bidder as a recognized distributor of the brand in Lebanon, or authorization of manufacturers for each equipment.
  • - List of spare parts needed for the maintenance of the machines and their cost, as well as the labor cost for the machines during the period of the contract.
  • - A copy of the statement of integrity signed by the supplier.
  • - Offer should include at least 3 items out of 5, any offer for less than 3 items will not be accepted.
  • - Supplier should guarantee delivery and installation before end of January 2025.

Financial proposal:

  • - A detailed financial offer as per the RFQ that includes all fees and expenditures in a table, identifying clearly applicable taxes. The financial offer should also include the payment methods and all necessary information for payments.
  • - The offer should include the delivery, installation and testing and commissioning on site.

     

  • Interested bidders are requested to send the RFQ to the following email address: [email protected], with all the requested information filled and signed before the deadline on 30/September/2024 at 23:00. Offers sent to any other email will be automatically disqualified.
