RMC is a reputable non-profit organization established in 1997, renowned as one of Lebanon's premier rehabilitation centers. Its distinguished status in the field stems from its exceptional services and patient-centered approach.

RMC's appeal lies in its highly experienced staff, offering a spectrum of therapies including physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, and social and psychological services catering to individuals across all age groups, from children to adults. The center specializes in treating various conditions ranging from complex cases like cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, stroke, and traumatic brain injury, to more common ailments such as chronic pain and sports injuries.

As part of its commitment to integrity and ethical conduct, RMC adheres strictly to a zero-tolerance policy on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), ensuring the protection of beneficiaries. All staff are required to follow the Code of Conduct that upholds principles of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) both during and outside work hours, with mandatory training and familiarization with these guidelines.

About Project

Building upon the success of its previous Community-Based Rehabilitation CBR projects, ADJI proposes a 12-month multi-sectoral intervention to address critical health, protection and shelter needs in North Lebanon (Tripoli and T5 ", Bakhaoun ,Bebnine ,Dedde ,El Minie ,Kousha ,Miryata ,Tell Hayat ,Wadi Khaled ,Zgharta). This project will prioritize assessing, addressing the differential needs  and priorities of women with disabilities, elderly women, children with disabilities CwDs, and other vulnerable groups within the target population.

Expected Outcomes:
* Improved access to quality and comprehensive rehabilitation and specialized services for 1800 individuals in North Lebanon.
* Increased accessibility and safety of living environments for 50 PwDs through shelter adaptations.
* Enhanced protection and reduced vulnerability for 6,800 individuals through increased awareness, empowered local actors, and inclusive service practices.
Through the project, ADJI will address the diverse needs of vulnerable populations in North Lebanon, creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Requirements for Physical Therapist Centers:

Education and Licensure:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

State licensure as a Physical Therapist, with compliance with all regulatory requirements. Licensure must be up-to-date and in good standing.

Clinical Experience:

Demonstrated clinical experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions, injuries, and disabilities.

Proficiency in applying a range of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the principles of physical therapy.

Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software for documentation.

Ethical and Professional Standards:

Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Interpersonal Skills:

Empathy, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks required in the job, such as assisting patients with exercises, lifting, and positioning.

Continuous Learning:

Willingness and commitment to ongoing professional development, including attending relevant workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

Knowledge of and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice.

Cultural Competence:

Sensitivity and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse patient populations.

Team Collaboration:

Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and administrative staff.

Time Management:

Effective time management skills to prioritize patient care, documentation, and administrative tasks.
