Awareness Raising Trainer on Early Marriage

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Awareness Raising Trainer on Early Marriage” for “Upscaling Shelter, Food Security, Protection, and GBV services to extremely vulnerable individuals in North-Lebanon and Akkar” Project supported by OCHA Lebanon through Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).

 

 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive training on the implications and consequences of early marriage;
  • Educate participants on the legal, social, and health aspects of early marriage; and,
  • Empower individuals and communities to prevent and address early marriage.

 

Professional Standards:

All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven expertise and experience in issues related to early marriage and child protection.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering educational programs on sensitive topics.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to handle discussions on sensitive and potentially emotional subjects.
  • Knowledge of cultural contexts and legal frameworks related to early marriage.

 

Period of Employment: 

225 sessions ranging between 1 September 2024 – 31 July 2025

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education DegreeBachelor Degree in psychology, social work, or any related field.
