Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on necessary actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Coordination and communication with artists, and activists for bookings and requirements 
  • Coordinating with the team and external facilitators for deliverables per activity
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes and Developing project strategies.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Create documentation to ensure archiving of all necessary information per project/grant
  • Coordinate with the ED to identify and apply for new grants and funding cycles 
  • Monitoring and Evaluation for reporting internally and with stakeholders 
  • Monitor project implementation and document necessary information for narrative reporting 
  • Produce with the ED the final reporting documents

Project Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in  Bachelor's degree in development, research, gender studies, or a related field of study with 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Apps.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Experience in reporting and proposal writing. 
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, and Arabic speaking. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
