RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement the project MEAL system, including the development of tools and indicators to measure project outcomes and impact.
• Monitor project progress against the project log frame and work plans, identifying and reporting on any delays, issues or risks to the Program Manager.
• Design and implement project evaluations, including baseline, mid-term and final evaluations, and other research activities as required.
• Ensure that project data is properly collected, analyzed and reported in a timely and accurate manner, and that it is used to inform project decision-making.
• Work with the Program Manager and other project staff to develop project reports, including donor reports, that clearly communicate project progress and impact.
• Provide technical support to project staff on data collection, analysis, and reporting, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to the project MEAL system.
• Ensure that the project is compliant with donor reporting requirements and that reports are submitted on time.
• Promote learning and knowledge sharing within the organization and with project partners, ensuring that lessons learned are documented and disseminated.
• Participate in regular project review meetings with the Program Manager and other project staff to review project progress, identify issues and risks, and develop action plans to address them.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in designing monitoring and evaluation activities in support of donor funded projects or in similar field.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
• Knowledge of project management principles and experience in developing and implementing project M&E plans.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to commute to Tripoli and Beirut as required.
