Description: 
  • Assist in selecting the team staff by supporting in identification of team members and conducting interviews as needed.
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Team Supervisor, monitor the implementation of the RRT and RCCE component and follow up on deliverables and quality of work;
  • Receive mobilization calls from sector lead in the area whenever rapid response is needed for cholera-suspected cases in North and Akkar.
  • Closely coordinate with the Team Supervisors to mobilize Rapid Response Teams in specific locations and ensure availability of back-up teams as needed.
  • Maintain close coordination with health sector lead in North and Akkar areas, ESU focal points, Cadaa physicians and other actors in same localities.
  • Ensure reporting on all suspected Cholera cases investigated by RI’s teams and communicate findings and follow-up with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely submission of project reports as requested by the Health Program Coordinator;
  • Coordinate with the Health Program Coordinator, the Field Medical Coordinator, the Pharmacist assistant and the Team Supervisors on the procurement and distribution of ORS, diagnostic kits, PPE and/or kits to suspected cases.
  • Ensure the adequate referral of suspected/confirmed cases to services (PHCCs, hospitals, etc) and discuss cases with Field Medical Coordinator as needed.
  • Schedule on-call days with PHO and fellow Team Supervisor and maintain responsiveness during on-calls.
  • Document and manage the stock of ORS, PPE and/or donation kits and oversee accurate Means of Verification are available.
  • Collect documentation from teams and ensure adequate Means of Verification for all field activities and capacity building activities, while coordinating with MEAL
  • Support the Health Program Coordinator in programmatic tasks, reporting, target achievement and other tasks as needed.
