PLUS (People Level Up Skills) Project Manager - Prospective

Key responsibilities, tasks and activities

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely mannerand within budget. She/He will managing project resources, prepare budgets, monitorprogress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project cycle.

 

  • Lead the implementation of PLUS porject(s) across-Lebanon 
  • Liaise with areas coordinators, partners, and Anera PLUS team members to guarantee the project’s success and provide visibility on regular basis on the project progress and achieved milestones
  • Ensure that the project is being implemented as per the initial design and that every lesson learned is well documented and reported proactively through retrospective meetings in an agile approach 
  • Develop reports to highlight the progress of the project while coordinating with the MEAL department to measure and assess the results of the implemented activities
  • Manage the ressources allocated on the project (directly or dotted line)
  • Ensure proper organization, logistics and preparations of career acceleration trainings 
  • Manage/organize community events and activities 
  • Manage project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures 
  • Review progress and financial reports (invoices) submitted by partners, consultants and suppliers 
  • Participate in procurement process as a technical resource, including assisting in the preparation of bidding documents and evaluating technical submissions of bidders if needed

Work Condition:

This position is an office-based post which requires regular commuting to project sites

Qualification 

  • 3+ years’ experience in project management, preferable in NGOs (having tech background is a plus)
  • Strong experience in MEAL activities and tools 
  • Demonstrated capacity in budget management and forecasting
  • Demonstrated capacity in writing internal and donor reports
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Excellent digital skills and previous experience working on project management tools
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Proven drive for community impact
