Description: 
  • Child protection monitoring and field assessment activities are implemented in a timely, efficient and technically sound manner through clear weekly and monthly work plans.
  • Supervise staff and facilitate participatory field assessment of child protection Apply an age, gender and diversity approach to understand displaced populations in their diversity, protection concerns and priorities, and the resources available to them.
  • Support information/data collection for protection monitoring to address weaknesses, child protection needs and concerns of target parents, and weekly reports on key issues/trends.
  • Conduct follow-up monitoring visits to ensure that needs are being met in an appropriate manner, and provide an opportunity for beneficiaries to provide feedback on the assistance received.
  • Ensure the dissemination of clear and reliable information on service provision and other pre-selected key topics.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the Child Protection Coordinator on progress, lessons learned, achievements, gaps, issues and problems.
  • Contribute to capacity building of local organizations, community groups and stakeholders in the field of protection.
  • Supervising 3 CP PSS assistants identifying and leading the resolution of any and all problems that arise in the institute.
  • Ensure that timelines animations are completed accurately.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with beneficiary communities.
  • Holding awareness sessions for the beneficiary communities.
  • Participate in adapting the referral strategy to ensure the quality of services to the beneficiaries.
  • Liaise with other service providers to support referrals and ensure referrals are followed up.
  • Monitor children's registration and attendance for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure that all health and safety mechanisms are in place.
  • Reports on a regular basis, highlighting any major protection concerns or issues in the timely implementation of the project.
  • Perform other duties as required by the project supervisors, project head.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with relevant government authorities, IDP community leaders and cluster staff.
