The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) is seeking for a Senior Capacity Building Coordinator with rich experience to work and to be in charge of coordination of the capacity building component in the project. The Capacity Building Coordinator have to ensure that targets are reached by the end of the project.
The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) is implementing a project titled: Local Development and Governance: Multiplying efforts to enhance and promote social cohesion and Stability. (Qudurat el Chamal)
A number of up to 20-30 CBOs (at least 4 from each district and from different sectors of intervention) will be identified to participate in the capacity building programme, as foreseen by the project.
The training and capacity building programme that will be delivered to CBOs on the following topics:
- Institutional and organizational transformation
- Conflict transformation instruments
- Social cohesion instruments
The Capacity Building Coordinator will work with the Program Director to design a package of technical assistance, training, and capacity-building and institutional strengthening that will enable to meet operational and capacity building goals for the project CBOs.
The coordinator will lead the implementation of the interventions of capacity building initiative with the trainers, experts and follow up on the grants distribution to the CBOs. The Coordinator will identify sources of capacity-building expertise and will also coordinate and collaborate with other third parties to avoid redundancy of efforts.
The project within the framework of (UDP_NL) project that is commissioned by Federal Republic of Germany and co-financed by the European Union.
