I'mpossible will offer the successful applicant a 4 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work as soon as possible and be willing and able to work in Akkar.

The Community Empowerment and Livelihoods Officer will undertake functions as mentioned below:
- Identify potential livelihood activities based on market and livelihood assessments.
- Coordinate the timely implementation of community empowerment and livelihood activities in his/her AoR.
- Supervise and Conduct FGDs with beneficiaries and different stakeholders to assess the POC interests and needs
- Design and analyse the need assessments phase with host and refugee communities including municipalities, community representatives and youth (maintaining gender balance)
- Follow up with and support the committee and different stakeholders to mobilize resources for the communal projects
- Ensure proper monitoring during the different stages of Community Support Projects implementation
- Ensure involvement and participation of local and refugee communities in the project
- Provide administrative and logistical support during the implementation of the project
- Prepare and ensure follow up on all documents, contracts and payments for CSPs in the area of intervention
- Support the project coordinator in the capacity building activities for key change agents on conflict mitigation mechanism and negotiation
- Organize and ensure a timely, proper written weekly/monthly reporting and report daily if needed on problems faced;
- Any other duty related to the nature of the job as directed by the line manager
