About the coordinator roles
The project and volunteers’ coordinator is responsible for:
- The effective and flexible coordination and implementation of various NAHNOO
projects’ activities;
- The involvement of volunteers in NAHNOO’s work;
- The management of NAHNOO’s volunteers’ community across potentially different
cities
Key responsibilities:
- Recruit volunteers
- Coordinate the organization of NAHNOO events and mentor volunteers in doing so
- Act as a first point of contact for the volunteers, keeping them motivated
- Evaluate performance of the volunteers in relation to agreed targets
- Provide support and supervision and leadership, including regular meetings with the
volunteers of the different teams, making sure that team and individual roles and
objectives are fulfilled
- Ensure there is appropriate support and training for volunteers
- Participation in creating communication channels with various stakeholders in local communities
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor degree
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience successful leadership of multi-disciplinary
teams;
- Good communication skills and ability to adapt to different environments
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
- At least 1 year of experience in project coordination and implementation preferable similar
project,
- Excellent communication, team work and community outreach skills.
