The idea of the project focuses on improving on children
Overall Objectives:
Overall Objective:
To make child protection and the prevention of child abuse a social neighborhood priority by developing ties, networking and collaborative efforts between 13 Local NGOs (Palestinian and Lebanese) who are focusing on children rights issues in North Lebanon, and the relevant governmental centres or agencies (such as active Social Development Centres).
Specific objectives:
Objective1: Establishing Child Protection Network of local NGOs in North Lebanon to monitor the child rights situation, assist child focused work and raise awareness on child rights in the Lebanese and Palestinian communities.
Objective2: To provide Palestinian and Lebanese children aged (6-17years) with safe spaces by offering them means to express their stress ,anxiety and express themselves in North area.
Activities:
1.Creating a child protection network
2.Capacity building for NGOs about: Child rights, How to monitor violations against children and map out child protection issues.
3.Monitoring and advocacy about child abuse and rights violations.
4.Updating needs assessments of children
