The projcect targets
location: 10 puplic primary and intermediate schools in the following villages: barich, bafliyeh, mjadel, toura, albiyad, tairharfa,yarine, majdel zoun, dahira.
Direct beneficiaries
- 2,786 children between 4and 14 years old
- 150 teachers
- 200 adolescents
Overall Objectives:
to restore education services in 10 primary and intermediate government schools in line with the minimum standards of education in emergencies and recovery in a way to promote a child centered learning enviroment in 10 villages of the caza of tyre (barich, bafliyed, majadel, toura, debaal, ab bayad, tair harfa, yaringe, majdel zooun, dhaira.
Activities:
- participatory finalisation of needs identification
- set up of purchase committees(including the project coordinator) within the school committees for search of quotations.
-perchase and delivery of items.
-commrnity mobilization through the project duration
- orientation meeting with key people.
- identification and recruitment of animators (among teachers and youth) to follow up the extra curricla activities.
- training of animators.
- set up of youth groups (committees)
- project workshops: participatory needs identification,groups dynmaics,peer to peer apparoach,project management.we will organize 1 workshop of 5 days for each youth committee,grouping together 2committees in order to have1 workshop for each village, for a total of 10 workshops.
