UNRWA’s human development goals
UNRWA is funded almost entirely by voluntary contributions from UN member states, regional bodies, business foundations and individual contributions. UNRWA has identified four human development goals as the focus of the Agency’s operations in committing to fostering human development of Palestine refugees by helping them to: lead long and healthy lives, acquire knowledge and skills, achieve decent standards of living and enjoy human rights to the fullest possible extent.

The Alliance2015 Partnership, represented by lead agency ACTED, Cesvi, Concern and Hivos, is running a program that aims to address root causes of conflict and instability in Lebanon, through the creation of sustainable income-generating and livelihood opportunities for vulnerable populations. Over three years, Alliance2015 partners will work directly with 1,800 individuals, 18 Social Development Centers (SDCs) and at least 27 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Lebanon.

CESVI IN LEBANON

Cesvi has been active in Lebanon since 2001 in different areas: North, South and Mount Lebanon, Nabatieh and Beirut. Funded by institutional donors and private foundations, Cesvi's projects cover a broad range of sectors - such as livelihoods, food security and emergency assistance - all with a crosscutting focus on protection. Since 2013 Cesvi has been responding to the spillover of the Syrian Crisis, paying special attention to Livelihood and Protection sectors, in close collaboration with local authorities, partners, CSOs, international agencies and other stakeholders.

Life skills sessions

Needed Proposal writer and Reporter

"Blue Mission Organization is looking for motivated individuals to join it's outreach team to help deliver Early Childhood Education to Refugee children who are currently not in school from the ages of 3-6. We need a minimum commitment of 3 days per week, for 2.5 hours per session. Training and supplies available through our world-class international trainers. Volunteers should expect to be educated on best practices for early childhood education."

Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting and providing support to the Project Officer in daily planning and implementations of the project. The Project Assistant will be responsible for the Child Protection Network that would facilitate sharing of resources in prevention, response, collaboration with the partners in responding to the orphans’ needs and protection.

The Case Worker works with people to support them through difficult times and ensure that vulnerable people, including children and adults are safeguarded from harm. Their role is to provide support to enable service users to help themselves. They maintain professional relationships with service users, acting as guides and advocates
