The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Educator will provide children (from 3 to 6 years old) with activities designed to promote their social emotional, physical, cognitive and linguistic growth and prepare them for primary education.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

We are seeking a very dynamic and well-organized person to assist the Project, using professional social skills to achieve the objectives, and to seek the optimal solutions for each child in the project. It intends to step towards approaching the street children and assisting them in the streets.

The Non-Formal Education Educator will be responsible to facilitate the overall delivery of the programme in safe, child-friendly environment, upholding the standards of the NRC’s Code of Conduct, while ensuring full inclusion and protection of the vulnerable children as a key responsibility of this role and following NRC’s Protection Policy The position holder will work in close connection with NRC’s Education Assistants (EAs),Education Officers (EOs), and Education Technical Officers (ETOs), and will receive a pre­service training on topics specific to the context.

1- Intelligent speaker with the ability to speak with people directly or through phone and present ideas clearly.
2- Good communication skills.
3- Knowledge of the demographic diversity of Bekaa.
4- Patience and ability to perform under pressure.
5- Punctuality and meeting deadlines.
6- Leniency toward inquiries and answering questions.
7- Empathy.
8- Strong belief in the principle of non-discrimination against any person for any reason.
9- Previous experience in outreach.
10- Good computer skills: MS office, data entry.

The ICLA Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and delivery of ICLA project activities in the bekaa in line with NRC’s strategy and standards. The position encompasses team direct line management, donor grants with budgets and development of strategy, policy and standards within ICLA Program.

The Republic of Lebanon represented by the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has received a Grant from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of the Climate Smart Agriculture: Enhancing Adaptive Capacity of the Rural Communities in Lebanon (AgriCAL) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant for the recruitment of Consulting Services provided by an Individual Consultant: as part of the Post of Trainer about Statistic and Research Design for the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI).
