SMEX is leading a project to reform Lebanon’s mobile telecom sector by addressing poor governance and lack of transparency—key drivers of the country’s economic crisis. Through detailed sector mapping, legal research, and policy analysis, the project aims to promote accountability, reduce corruption, and improve service delivery. A researcher will develop actionable recommendations and a governance model, supporting advocacy efforts to drive systemic reform with the support of a legal and a technical expert for a transparent telecom sector that boosts public trust and economic recovery.
