The Youth Empowerment for Social Impact (YESI) project, funded by the European Union and developed by CESVI, in partnership with Al Majmoua, aims to promote youth empowerment through inclusive, innovative and sustainable models of social entrepreneurship. This assignment is focused on Outcome Pathway B of the Project: Improving the technical and soft skills of vulnerable individuals to ensure increased economic opportunity and reduce negative coping mechanisms and tensions, specifically on activity 2.1: Provide relevant market-based TVET and soft skills trainings to vulnerable individuals

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the position is to coordinate the implantation of the Youth Resolve project in Bekaa and ensure that interventions are implemented based on standards and donor compliance in maintaining and establishing youth municipal committees who utilize evidence to lead on local and national advocacy to promote social cohesion. The project coordinator will serve as the liaison with local government authorities, community stakeholders and relevant entities within World Vision Lebanon and with other implementing partners.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under direct supervision of the Area Manager, the DC is to oversee and ensure achievements of targets towards donor’s requirements through overall management of the launching of the new Area Program design and protection programming (through the use of indicators performance trackers). Coordinate the implementation of project activities and management of the development facilitator(s) to ensure project deliverables are met as per the design
