DRC has been responding to various humanitarian crises in Lebanon since 2004, working with Palestinian, Iraqi and Syrian refugees. The incumbent of this post is responsible to the School Principal and supports equitable, inclusive quality education and a safe and effective learning environment in school. S/he is expected to perform professional duties as a teacher including the delivery of quality and inclusive education through expert knowledge on pedagogy and relevant curriculum areas, classroom management, formative and summative student assessment processes, effective communication with parents and school community on students' progress and needs, and continuous professional development as required by UNRWA policies.

Will support to set up and implement the communication plan for a project involving several partners through effective internal and external communications, public relations and branding. Will be in charge of communicating projects’ development and results, highlighting captivating content that will make sense to all readers. Good understanding of scientific and environment jargon and ability to translate it into nonprofessional language are a must.

The Accountability Assistant contributes to improving the quality of ACTED programming through the accurate registration and timely follow up of any feedback/complaints formulated as part of ACTED’s Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM). He/she also contributes to the development and dissemination of appropriate CRM messaging and communication strategies. The Accountability Assistant will need to be neutral and establish mechanisms that are based on ACTED procedures and reflect the highest integrity standards, which (non)-beneficiaries can trust.
