International Alert Lebanon is implementing the “Enhancing CSOs’ ability to foster social stability in Hasbaya and Southern Baalbeck” project in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) within the framework of “Strengthening Agriculture, Local Communities and Small and Medium Enterprises (ACE)” programme with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for economic cooperation and development (BMZ). Data Collection Assistant

Job Purpose

The Nutrition Assistant will be in direct contact with the supported Community Outreach Volunteers. She/he will be overseeing the routine malnutrition screening of Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW) as well as Children Under Five (CU5) within all distribution sites. In addition, the Nutrition Assistant will be supporting the community interventions such as Social Behavior Change Package, Awareness Raising Sessions, and Women Support Groups.

The Government of Lebanon (GOL) has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (The “World Bank”) towards Lebanon Emergency Crisis and COVID-19-Response Social Safety Net Program (ESSN). The objective of the $246 million project is to provide cash transfers and access to social services to extreme poor and vulnerable Lebanese populations affected by the economic and COVID-19 crises.
