Stock & logistics Manager-Warch(ée)

Operating in Lebanon, where unemployment rates are high, the organization supports women in accessing traditional jobs in construction, fostering financial independence and self-confidence. Warchée establish partnerships with construction companies to facilitate the recruitment of qualified female candidates and provide knowledge and learning opportunities in sought-after construction techniques.

Warchée also supports builders, architects, engineers, landscape architects, and urban planners by facilitating their access to projects and surrounding them with well-trained female teams.

Main Tasks and Duties:

Inventory Management:

• Oversee and optimize stock levels across all products (including tools, raw materials, merchandize, assets).
• Implement strategies to minimize overstocking and stockouts.
• Develop and maintain reorder points based on demand forecasting.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Supply Chain Management:

• Work closely with other team members and the procurement officer to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials according to needs.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and optimize storage and distribution processes.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends in stock movement and demand.
• Generate reports to inform stock replenishment decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize data analytics tools to optimize inventory management processes.

Technology Utilization:

• Implement and manage stock management software and tools.
• Train team members on using inventory management systems.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry and record-keeping.

Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing stock.
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards.
• Identify and manage defective or expired items.

Requirements:

Technical Competencies:

• Proven experience in inventory management principles and best practices.
• Experience working in industrial or NGO context preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with stock management software.
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures.

Remuneration and duration:

• Salary: 1100-1250$
• Duration: 1-year renewable
