Funded by the German government through KfW Development Bank, the funding for the Beit Beirut will focus on the operational management and maintenance of the site, such as the provision of cleaning and maintenance-related services, and implementation of social activities, such as theatre and plays, art exhibitions, chorus concerts, workshops, etc, in coordination with the Beirut municipality. 

Applicants can submit proposals as a consortium or individually. The Call for Proposals documents are available in English. Applications should be submitted in English. 

Organizations which have gender equality practices in place with specialised knowledge, expertise, and a track record of working on social activities and maintenance of public spaces, women’s rights organisations, women-led organisations and grassroot women’s organisations are encouraged to apply.  

Pre-Submission meetings will be held on 29 March 2023 at 10:00AM virtually to provide guidance to potential applicants in the application process and answer any questions needed.
